ABOUT UOA REIT
Overview
UOA Real Estate Investment Trust (‘UOA REIT’) was constituted on the 28
November 2005 and was listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia
Securities Berhad on the 30 December 2005. The investment objective of
UOA REIT is to own and invest in real estate and real-estate related
assets used, or predominantly used, for commercial purposes, whether
directly or indirectly through the ownership of single purpose
companies who wholly own real estate. UOA REIT, managed by UOA Asset
Management Sdn Bhd (‘Manager’), an indirect subsidiary of UOA Holdings
Sdn Bhd, is formed to own and invest in Properties which comprise of
(a) UOA Centre Parcels, (b) UOA II Parcels, (c) UOA Damansara Parcels,
(d) UOA Pantai, (e) UOA Damansara II and (f) Parcel B - Menara UOA
Bangsar.
Investment Objectives
As the Manager of UOA
REIT, our key objective is to provide our Unitholders with a stable
distribution per unit with potential for sustainable long-term growth
of such distribution and the Net Asset Value (NAV) per Unit.
Overall Strategies
We intend to achieve UOA
REIT’s key objectives through a combination of maintaining a
sustainable rental income growth and seek opportunities to acquire
quality real estate to diversify the earnings base and to enjoy greater
economies of scale. We will take advantage of the strong tenant
relationship and network established by the UOA Holdings Group, which
managed the Properties prior to their acquisition by UOA REIT.
